Ben is delighted to host his specially curated one-to-one classes at his beautiful studio, located within his stunning 19th-century home in Birmingham.

Whether you are a professional cake-maker or a keen hobbyist, Ben will share his skills, passion, and knowledge in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, to ensure you learn exactly what you wish.

How long will a class last?

Classes typically start at 9am and finish at 5pm with a short lunch break. However, if you need more time to complete your project, Ben will happily continue until you have finished.

What can I learn in a class?

Absolutely anything you want! Whether it is one of Ben’s signature flowers, his stunning foliage, or his enviable finish on covered cakes, Ben will discuss your specific requirements to design the class around your request.

Do I need to bring anything to the class?

Simply put, No! All equipment and materials will be provided for you. This includes dummies, pastes, dusts, and anything else you can think of!

What else is included in the price?

You will be provided with a light lunch which, weather permitting, can be eaten in one of the many beautiful sitting areas in Ben’s magnificent garden, including his popular, rose-strewn walled courtyard. Any dietary requirements can be catered for, and this will be discussed with you prior to your arrival. You can also enjoy as many hot or cold drinks as you require, and Alexa will be yours for the day so you can select the playlist of your choice!

How much does a class cost?

A full-day, one-to-one flower class with Ben is priced at £450 (no VAT is payable). There are no hidden costs to a class. Some non-flower classes may incur an additional charge for materials, but this will be discussed with you in advance of your booked date.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

A non-returnable deposit of £150 is requested to secure the date of your class.

What if I wanted to come with a friend?

You are welcome to bring a paying friend with you to take part in the same class, should you wish. We would request that your friend also pay a non-returnable deposit of £150.

Where is Ben located?

We are located just minutes from junctions 5 and 6 of the M6 in Birmingham and have excellent public transport links close by.

Is there parking?

There is plenty of free on-road parking available by Ben’s studio.
